Police Log: An Arrest at CVS

Friday, Feb. 1
12:17 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a resident of Robinson Drive reporting a missing Choclate Lab named Mico. The responding officer checked the area for the dog.Â

12:38 a.m.- Police received a call from an Orchard Road resident reporting he was the victim of an assault and battery at the American Legion at 357 Great Road. Responding officers spoke with the victim. No contact was made with the suspect.
7:10 a.m.- An employee at CVS called the police to report two suspicious females that had been in the store for up to three hours. The employee said she suspected the pair were under the influence of something. Responding officers located the two females in a vehicle outside CVS. Elizabeth Cressey, of Chocoura, New Hampshire, was arrested on a warrant.Â

12:49 p.m.- Police received a call from an employee of Huckins Farm reporting she had found a set of keys in the equestrian area. An officer dropped by the farm and picked up the keys.
1:56 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to report they had observed a truck carrying packages leave the Great Road Shopping Center with its back door open and packages falling out as it drove. The truck was last seen driving eastbound on Great Road. The responding officer checked the surrounding area, but could not locate the truck.Â
7:04 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a deer had been struck by a vehicle in front of 379 North Road. The responding officer reported the deer was not seriously injured, and had been moved to the side of the road.Â
