Police Log: Some Angry Turkeys on Crosby Drive

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, Jan. 22

11:41 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from a woman reporting her husband's cellphone was stolen and that it had been tracked to 213 Burlington Road. The responding officer reported he was able to retrieve the phone.

3:44 p.m.- Police received an abandoned 911 call from the pay phone at John Glenn Middle School. Upon calling back it was confirmed a student had called by accident and hung up. The responding officer spoke with the principal and confirmed there was no emergency.

9:08 p.m.- A resident of Buehler Road reported seeing a flame inside an outlet. The responding officer reported power had been shut off to the outlet.

Wednesday, Jan. 23

7:39 a.m.- An officer requested another officer's assistance with a suspicious male in the woods behind Marshalls. The officer reported the individual was defecating in the woods behind the store. The individual was transported back to his home and left in the care of a family member. 

11:57 a.m.- A caller reported a turkey attacking cars near 16 Crosby Drive. The responding officer checked the area, but did not find the turkey.

9:09 p.m.- An individual came into the police station to turn in a wallet she had found in front of Bedford High School.
