US Olympic Women's Hockey Team Scrimmaging Today, Next Weeks at Belmont Hill School

Before they are splashed on wide-screen HD television sets next month at the 2014 Winter Olympics, here's your chance to see the US Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team here in Belmont as they prepare for their matches in Sochi, Russia beginning Feb. 8 vs. Finland.

The young women start off their three scrimmages on the Olympic-size rink in the Jordan Athletic Center at Belmont Hill School, 350 Prospect St., today, Thursday, Jan. 9, at 11.45 a.m. against the Eastern Hockey League's Northern Cyclones.  

The second scrimmage will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 3 p.m. against the Boston Bandits and then wrapping up their time in Belmont on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 5:30 p.m. against host Belmont Hill.
