Beverly MLK Jr. Day Breakfast Event Set For Middle School
Residents are invited to the program that will examine King's legacy and "Where Do We Go From Here?"
BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents are invited to a breakfast event celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and "Where Do We Go From Here?" on Jan. 19 at Beverly Middle School.
The free event is the 40th honoring King in the city and begins at 9 a.m. at the middle school on Cabot Street.
Beverly Public Schools, the Human Rights Committee, Social Justice Book Club and the city will host the "I Have a Dream: Where Do We Go From Here?" program designed to reflect, engage and explore the path forward toward social justice, equity and unity.
