Beverly 400+ To Host Winter Wonderland Celebration To Kick Off Year Of Events
The kickoff event for the city's 400th anniversary is Jan. 17 at Lynch Park.
BEVERLY, MA — A yearlong celebration of Beverly's 400th anniversary will begin next with the Beverly 400+ Winter Wonderland and Family Festival at Lynch Park and community conversation on the city's history at the Cabot Theater.
The Celebration of Past, Present and Future will take place a 6 p.m. at the Cabot Theater. Admission is free. The conversation will include stories of the city and its residents, as well as information about upcoming 400+ events.
Following the Winter Wonderland and Family Festival, there will be a series of Beverly In the Movies at the Cabot Theater, which will include screenings of "The Tender Bar" and "CODA."

On March 7, there will be a Trivia In The Round night at the Cabot Theater.
On June 8, Beverly 400+ will host the Making History Golf Tournament, which is open to the public.

A citywide Scavenger Hunt will also be held throughout June.
There is also the Legacy Project, which aims to memorialize the city's history at Independence Park and create an art and historical space for residents and tourists.
