Mayor Cahill, New Councilors to be Inaugurated Monday

Mike Cahill will be inaugurated as Beverly's mayor on Monday, joining four new City Councilors and a new School Committee member along with the returning members of both boards.

The festivities will happen at noon in the auditorium at Beverly High School, making plenty of room for everyone who wants to attend.

Following the swearing in of Cahill, the City Council and School Committee, Cahill will offer his inaugural address.

Parking is available for the public in the student parking lot on the side of the building near the solar panels. Anyone who is attending should use the side entrance that faces the solar panels and student volunteers will guide visitors to the auditorium.

A light lunch will follow the ceremony in the Beverly High School library.

Anybody attending the inauguration is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for Beverly Bootstraps. There will be collection bins outside the auditorium.
