• Beverly 'Inaugural Soiree' To Celebrate Community (patch.com) — Beverly residents are invited to an Inaugural Soiree at Danversport next month, featuring local band Horizon, a buffet dinner, and a cash bar to celebrate newly elected city officials. Tickets start at $30, with purchase details provided for Venmo or mail, and the event complements the formal inauguration of Mayor Michael Cahill, the City Council, and School Committee at Beverly High School. 
• Power outages and downed tress reported across Massachusetts amid windy weather (wcvb.com) — Strong winds on Tuesday brought very local trouble to Beverly, where a toppled tree blocked Common Lane and added to power problems across Massachusetts. Other communities saw trees fall on or near homes, and thousands of residents statewide lost electricity as gusts continued under a National Weather Service wind advisory.
