Six Children Treated For Injuries After Beverly Bus Crash
The bus carrying 11 students from the Brookwood School in Manchester-by-the-Sea collided with another vehicle on Route 128 in Beverly.
BEVERLY, MA — Six children from the Brookwood School, in Manchester-by-the-Sea were being treated for minor injuries after the bus they were riding in collided with another vehicle on Route 128 in Beverly Tuesday afternoon. The bus, which was carrying 11 students, spun several times from the force of the collision and was left facing oncoming traffic in the middle lane of the highway.
One of the victims was taken by ambulance to Beverly Hospital, while the other five students were treated on scene. All of the students were eventually tgaken to the hospital by another bus as a precaution, officials said.
No charges have been filed, but the crash remains under investigation by Beverly and State Police.
