Boston Calling 2020: Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters

BOSTON, MA — Rage Against The Machine, the recently reunited 90s rock icons, will headline the 2020 Boston Calling music festival in May, music festival organizers announced Monday. The Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers are also set to play. There are plenty of local music artists on the list, including Dinosaur Jr., PVRIS, The Shelia Divine and Camp Blood.

You might also notice that festival officials booked Boston's Cliff Notez. That's the band that hosted its own (cheaper) music festival in Dorchester and dubbed it "Boston Answering" to point a finger at Boston Calling's lineup last year. A number of folks criticized it for a lack of local voices and diversity.

This year includes a number of DJs and comedians, but it looks like no ballet.

The 11th annual Boston Calling festival will take place Memorial Day weekend at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston.
