Boston Election 2019: 4 New City Councilors Elected
Four new City Councilors were voted in — including one by just 10 votes, according to unofficial results.

BOSTON — Four new Boston City Councilors were elected Tuesday, including one by a margin of just 10 votes.
Julia Mejia beat Alejandra Nicole St. Guillen, 22,464-22,454, for the fourth at-large seat. Mejia will join at-large incumbents Michelle Wu, who led all candidates with 41,616 votes, Annissa Essaibi-George and Michael Flaherty. Althea Garrison lost her re-election bid.
Newcomers Liz Breadon (District 9,) Richard Arroyo (District 5) and Priscilla Kenzie Bok (District 8) won their races.

In the non-binding question about whether Dudley Square should be renamed Nubian Square, 54 percent of voters said no.
