Boston Election Guide: Candidates, Question, Polling Sites
Four at-large and five district City Council seats are up for grabs, while voters will also answer a non-binding question on Dudley Square.

BOSTON — Several at-large and district City Council races and a non-binding question highlight the ballot in Boston's election Tuesday.
Much of the attention is on the at-large race, where four incumbents jostle with four challengers for four seats. Michael Flaherty, Althea Garrison, Annissa Essaibi George and Michelle Wu are seeking re-election as David Halbert, Julia Mejia, Erin Murphy and Alejandra Nicole St. Guillen gun for their seats.
In District 4, incumbent Andrew Joy Campbell faces Jeff Durham. Richard Arroyo and Maria Esdale Farrell vie for an open seat in District 5. District 7 will see incumbent Kim Janey try to fend off Roy Owens Sr. Open seats in District 8, where Priscilla Kenzie Bok takes on Jennifer Ann Nassour, and District 9, where Liz Breadon faces Craig Cashman, round out the competitive races ofnthe ballot.

Four incumbents are running unopposed: Lydia Edwards in District 1, Edward M. Flynn in District 2, Frank Baker in District 3 and Matt O’Malley in District 6.
The question asks voters whether they support renaming Roxbury's Dudley Square to Nubian Square. The question is non-binding.
