BOSTON —Are you following what's happening with the Bruins as they edge closer to that the Stanley Cup Final? Of course you are. In the event you weren't able to score tickets to the game, Mayor Marty Walsh is throwing a viewing party, complete with outdoor concert at his house. Ok, not at his house, but close enough: City Hall Plaza will be decked out with video screens and music on Monday, May 27.

The idea? Bring fans together to watch Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final on the (really) big screen.

The event will be free and open to anyone, and will begin at 4:30 p.m., according to the mayor's office. Musical performances (who are still TBD) will start at 6 p.m. And then you can stay and watch the Bruins-Blues game on video screens at 8 p.m.

Just like any big event in the city fans are encouraged to minimize the number of personal items they bring and all carried items are subject to inspection. You know the drill: Bags, backpacks, purses larger than a wristlet, coolers, chairs, umbrellas or weapons of any kind are not allowed. A full list of prohibited items is available here.
