Boston Police Officer Hit By Vehicle

BOSTON — A Boston police officer was hit by a motor vehicle just after noon near a construction side. The officer was hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to Officer Kim Tavares, a police spokeswoman.

The at the intersection of Ukraine Street and Washington Street near Hyde Park Avenue, not far from the Forest Hills T station.

Images of the scene show a dump truck, a van and a sport utility vehicle involved in the crash. The officer was expected to be OK, Tavares said.
