Boston Weather: More Snow Coming Monday, No School Closings

Another 3-6 inches of snow Monday in Boston; no school closing planned.

Boston, MA - Boston could get hit with another 3-6 inches of snow Monday, mostly during the morning commute, but schools will remain open.

A winter weather advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 8 p.m., reaching Eastern Massachusetts between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m, according to the National Weather Service. Most of the accumulation will occur in mid- to late-afternoon, possibly lingering into the evening.

Temperatures will be in the upper 20s during morning rush hour, so drivers should be careful of slippery roads. Sunshine during the day should melt much of the ice, but the NWS warns to be aware of an evening flash freeze which could impact rush hour.
