Donald Trump on Deflategate: 'Leave Tom Brady Alone'
Tom Brady and Donald Trump are buddies, so it's no surprise the Republican frontrunner and knee-jerk opinion generator weighed in.

Boston, MA - Hours after a federal appeals court reinstated Tom Brady's "deflategate" suspension, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump had a message for his detractors.
"Let's start by saying, leave Tom Brady Alone," Trump told a cheering crowd in Warwick, R.I. "Leave him alone. He's a great guy. It's enough."

Trump defended the New England Patriots quarterback Monday, after a three-judge panel ruled 2-1 to reinstate the four-game ban. Last year, a judge in U.S. District Court dropped the suspension.
Brady has previously expressed support for a Trump presidency, but stopped shy of a fully endorsement.

Trump held the rally in Warwick Monday roughly 45 minutes north of the Patriots' Foxborough stadium, as he campaigns in Rhode Island ahead of the Tuesday primary there.
