Elizabeth Warren's Zinger Had Everyone Talking
Elizabeth Warren might as well have been performing stand-up when she answered a hypothetical question at an LGBTQ Town Hall on CNN.

Chalk it up as another win for Elizabeth Warren. The Massachusetts senator who has emerged as the new frontrunner for the Democratic nomination after climbing the polls all summer won the internet again Thursday night with a classic Warren zinger.
Warren, speaking at an LGBTQ Town Hall on CNN, was asked what her response would be if a supporter told her, "Senator, I’m old-fashioned and my faith teaches me that marriage is between one man and one woman."
Warren's response? "Well, I’m going to assume it’s a guy who said that. And I’m going to say, then just marry one woman. I’m cool with that."

After several seconds of laughter and applause, Warren laid a burn on this hypothetical supporter.
"Assuming you can find one," she said, sending the crowd into another tizzy.

The short exchange didn't reveal any policy or anything new about Warren, but it's already been viewed millions of times on social media. It provided the type of viral moment candidates rely on to stand out in an organic way to the kind of voters who don't sit down for Town Hall events.
Warren is no stranger to such moments. She landed a haymaker on Maryland Rep. John Delaney in the second Democratic presidential debate in July that he's still recovering from:
