Hold On to Your Hats: Wind, Rain Advisory Issued for Boston
Wind advisory, heavy rain warning has been issued for the area.

Boston, MA — A wind advisory has been issued for the area from 2-7 p.m. Thursday.
The advisory is for all of Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts, with winds heading south from 15 to 20 miles per hour, and gusting up to 50 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
The gusts might result in some downed large tree limbs, as well as isolated power outages.

"Driving can also be difficult," said the National Weather Service, "especially for high profile vehicles."
In addition to gusting winds, the National Weather Service warns of continuing heavy rain throughout southeast New England Thursday.

The winds and rain saw about 400 customers without power in Boston, as of 5 p.m., according to Eversource.
