Jumper Reported Near St. Elizabeth's Medical Center: Police

Someone may have jumped from the building, according to early reports.

BOSTON, MA — Police confirmed they received a call reporting a person might be jumping from a building near St. Elizabeth's Medical Center Wednesday night. The Cambridge Street at Washington Street was temporarily closed as police and firefighters responded, according to early police and fire scanner reports. But it's not clear what happened.

A spokesperson from the Boston Police Department confirmed the call came in around 5 p.m. No further information was available.

About an hour later, someone reported a pedestrian was hit by a slow moving vehicle near the corner of Cambridge and Warren Street nearby.
