MA Weather: Dreary 24 Hours As Potential Downpours Move In

Tuesday will spark a dreary 24 hours for Massachusetts, with evening rain potentially downpouring and lasting into Wednesday.

A cloudy and foggy morning will give way to drizzle throughout the day. That will give way to a "sweeping cold front overnight [with] a line of showers, potentially some downpours," the National Weather Service said.

There could be on-and-off wetness with temperatures in the high 50s until the evening, when the rain starts to intensify. The rain should be at its worst overnight into the early morning.

No weather warning or outlooks have been issued as of 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The end of the week is expected to clear up for a pleasant end of the week before potentially a bit more rain this weekend.
