MA Weather: First Snow Will Dust Region, Give Way To Cold
After a dusting across much of Massachusetts Thursday night, temperatures dip into the 20s.

The first snowflakes of the season are still expected to dust much of Massachusetts this week before unseasonably cold temperatures set in.
Forecasters said what will start as rain Thursday night "probably ends as a brief period of snow across the interior high terrain," the National Weather Service said. According to expected the snowfall map the NWS released, it's not going to be much at all. Less than an inch is expected in those areas, while the Boston area, Southeastern Mass. and the Cape & Islands may not get any.

After the light snowfall, there will be "unseasonably cold and windy weather" Friday. The low temperature will be 26 degrees around Boston, making for a biting end to the week. The "real-feel" temperatures at night will get down to 20 degrees, according to AccuWeather.
