Man Found Dead In Milton Avenue Home In Dorchester

Now police are asking anyone with information on the death to call them.

BOSTON — After a man was found dead in his home in Dorchester following gunshots Wednesday morning, police are asking for the public's help in figuring out what happened.

Just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, someone reported a person shot in the area of Milton Avenue in Dorchester. When police got there, they found a man inside a home suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, they said.

The man, later identified as 24-years-old Donell Davis, of Boston was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
