BOSTON — The U.S. Marine Corps identified one of its own who's under investigation in the September death of an Emerson College student. Lance Cpl. Samuel London is being investigated in connection with the death of Emerson College student Daniel Hollis, 19. London has not been charged.

Hollis suffered a brain injury during the Sept. 28 fight in Allston after he left a party. Officers said they found Hollis unconscious near Park Vale Avenue. His family said he was hit in the head and fell, striking his head on concrete. Boston police later deemed his death a homicide.

The Marines recently acknowledged one of their own was being looked at but did not identify London until Thursday. It was reported he returned to base in California after the fight.
