Boston, MA - Twitter is lighting up with pictures of Mark Wahlberg Monday, who's filming parts of Patriots Day near the finish line at Copley Square ahead of the Boston Marathon.
The movie, about the Boston Marathon bombings and the response from authorities, stars Wahlberg and has been shooting scenes from Woburn to Quincy over the past several weeks.

The actor and Dorchester native was up bright and early Monday, filming well before the marathon itself gets underway in Hopkinton.

Of course, not everyone was happy to have him on-hand. Patriots Day has been prohibited from filming in Watertown, for example, where a police shootout with the bombers occurred.
Similarly, some on Twitter were less than thrilled with the actor's appearance on Boylston Street Monday.

Wahlberg, for his part, has pledged to "get it right" in his movie portrayal of the events.
