MBTA Releases Reliability Tracker
New public information can help you prove that your commute truly is the best or worst in Massachusetts.
Boston, MA - This one's for the data nerds, transit nerds and your average MBTA rider who wants to prove their commute is truly the worst.
The MBTA released on Monday its new Performance Dashboard, which makes its internal transit tracking data public on a daily basis.
So, for example, we now know subway rides arrived on schedule about 84 percent of the time Sunday, and that the least reliable was the Green Line, which only hit its target arrivals 69 percent of the time. The worst of the green line options is the C-line, which runs from Lechmere to the Cleveland Circle Station, and arrived as scheduled about 67 percent of the time Sunday.
