Man Accused Of Robbing Elderly Person At MBTA Station

EAST BOSTON, MA — After a 72-year-old reported they were robbed at the Maverick Square MBTA station recently, MBTA Transit Police have released images of a person they suspect in connection with the robbery.

Police said an older person was robbed at the MBTA station around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27. On Friday, they released an image of the person and are asking for the public's help in identifying him.

Police said it was an unarmed robbery.

Officials are encouraging anyone who saw anything related to the robbery or anyone who recognizes the person to call their Criminal Investigations Unit at 617-222-1050.
