Police, Protesters Clash Outside Boston Police Station

A protest at the death of an unarmed black man at the hands of Minneapolis police turned confrontational outside a Boston police station.

BOSTON – Protesters and police clashed in the South End Friday night as hundreds of people demanded justice for the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Floyd was killed when a Minneapolis police officer kept his knee on his neck while trying to arrest him.

Outside the District 4 station on Harrison Ave, several people were pepper-sprayed as demonstrators moved toward officers in protective gear to block the entrance of the building.
