Public Pianos Return to Boston's Streets This September
The popular "Play Me, I'm Yours" series is seeking donated pianos, painters and "piano buddies" willing to play host.
Boston, MA - Stretch those fingers and bust out the sheet music, Boston, because the popular street pianos are returning this fall.
The Boston Celebrity Series installed the artfully decorated pianos around town in 2013, inviting the public to sit down and tickle the ivories as part of artist Luke Jerram's international "Play Me, I'm Yours" series.
From Sept. 23 - Oct. 10, the Celebrity Series is bringing the music back, with 60 pianos scattered across every Boston neighborhood, according to their site.
