Report Of Explosive Device In East Boston: Police
Boston firefighters were dispatched to the William F McClellan Highway and raised concern about 32,000 gallons of gas and oil nearby.

BOSTON — Firefighters and the bomb squad are responding to a report of an explosive device at a 450 William F McClellan Highway, a police spokeswoman confirmed. But they're not sure, yet, if it's the real deal.
"We're not sure if it's real or if it's a replica," said Officer Kim Tavares. "The bomb squad is headed out there now, so we'll know soon."
There are 30,000 gallons of gas and 2,000 motor gallons of motor oil on the scene, according to early fire scanner radio reports.
