Ted Williams Tunnel Will Be Closed For Repairs: MassDOT
The Ted Williams Tunnel will be closed during the nighttime and early morning this week for repairs.

BOSTON – The Ted Williams Tunnel, which carries Interstate 90 traffic under Boston Harbor, will be closed to all traffic this week for nighttime and early morning repairs. The closure starts Monday night.
That's right folks, if you usually head that way for airport pickups or scoot out early to get to work before 5 a.m. or for whatever reason, watch out, you'll be rerouted. And that means it's not just folks who take the Ted Williams — the closure will also affect the Sumner Tunnel and Tobin Bridge, as traffic is going to be rerouted thataway. Drivers beware.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced the closure this week. Crews will work on milling, paving and concrete repair.
