Donald Trump: 'Don't Reward Mitt Romney'

With polls now open in Ohio, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump fired a few final shots at Mitt Romney Monday. On Twitter, of course.

Boston, MA - Donald Trump couldn't let Mitt Romney run around Ohio without a biting remark or two trailing him, and as a loss for the Donald there looks increasingly likely Tuesday night, he struck out this morning.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has an 86 percent likelihood of winning his home state's Republican primary tonight, according to the generally reliable forecasting powers of FiveThirtyEight.

Boosting that effort is 2012 GOP nominee and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who is throwing his weight behind anyone who could take down Trump. He campaigned on Kasich's behalf on Monday at two Ohio stops.

Trump has used Romney as a foil, casting him as the "loser" candidate who represents all that is wrong with the GOP establishment. He sought to wrap Kasich into that same package in the tweet Tuesday.

A Kasich victory in winner-take-all Ohio won't achieve Romney's dream of stopping Trump, but it will prevent him from an outright lock on the nomination.
