1 Dead, 1 Injured In Overnight Shooting On Tremont Street: Police

The shooting occurred at around 1:30 a.m. It is under investigation and officials are expected to release more information later.

BROCKTON, MA — One man died and another person was injured in a shooting in Brockton overnight Tuesday, Brockton police said.

The shooting occurred just after 1:30 a.m. on Tremont Street, according to NBC10 Boston.

Police were "working around a white car in the area of 79 Tremont Street around 5 a.m. Tuesday," though the car has since left the scene, NBC10 Boston reported.

Brockton Police and State Police assigned to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz's office are investigating the incident, and Cruz's office is expected to release more details later today, The Boston Globe reported.
