Golf Course Finger Bite Description: Like Someone Eating A Dorito
Derek Harkins of Brockton faces allegations that he bit off someone finger's during a fight over the pace of play at a golf course.

PLYMOUTH, MA — What started as an argument over the pace of play at Mouthers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth Friday resulted in a fight that left one golfer with only nine fingers and a Brockton man with a date to appear in court.
Derek Harkins, 46, was arraigned in Plymouth District Court Monday on charges of assault and battery, mayhem and disturbing the peace. He is free on the $10,000 cash bail he paid to get out of jail, according to the Boston Herald.
Authorities say that Harkins' group was upset that the group ahead of them was going too slow. When they confronted the group, a brawl allegedly ensued and Harkins bit another golfer's finger off.
