How Do Plymouth County Commute Times Compare?

New U.S. Census survey looks at the travel time to work for drivers in Plymouth County.

BROCKTON, MA — Commuters in Plymouth County take a little longer than the rest of the state when it comes to travel times, according to new data released in a U.S. Census survey for 2015.

On average, Plymouth County commuters take about 32.9 minutes to get to work, about four minutes more than Massachusetts as a whole, and a bit longer than the more urban Boston area, where the average commute is about 32 minutes.

The good news is that, unlike most of the state, that local travel time hasn't gotten any longer than it was in 2014.
