Man Shot To Death In Front Of Brockton Home: DA

BROCKTON, MA — A man was killed after a shooting in Brockton Thursday night, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said Friday morning.

Police responded to a report of a shooting on Ash Street around 11:15 p.m. to find a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in front of the house, Cruz said.

The man whose name and age have not been released was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center where he later died, Cruz added.

Ash Street was shut down for several hours while Brockton police worked to investigate further.

It has since been reopened.

So far, there have been no arrests.

No additional information was immediately available.
