Men’s Soccer (5-0)The Massasoit men’s soccer program is off to a red-hot start, posting a 5-0 record in 2021. On the season, the Warriors have defeated Bristol, Southern Maine CC, Rhode Island College JV, CCRI, and New Hampshire Tech.

The Warriors have outscored the opposition 18-4 on the year, with freshman Damon Greene (New Bedford) leading the team in goals (5) and points (12). In total, six different student-athletes have scored multiple goals on the season.

In net, keeper Carlos Neto has posted a 0.84 goals against average and a perfect 5-0 record.

Women’s Soccer (1-0)The Massasoit women’s soccer team has been patiently waiting to play matches in 2021. Due to late season cancellations from opponents, the Warriors have only played one match so far this season. But the Warriors will have a bevy of contests in the near future, with six matches in an 11-day span, including four home contests.

In the lone match, Massasoit earned a 2-0 victory at Bristol CC, behind a pair of goals from freshman Kiana Fernandes of Taunton. In addition, goalie Ailish Olmstead (Brockton) earned the shutout victory in net for Massasoit.

Volleyball (3-1)The Massasoit volleyball team captured its home opener vs MassBay on Tuesday, sweeping the Buccaneers in dominate fashion by scores of 25-11, 25-6 and 25-13.

The win ups the Warriors record to 3-1 on the season, with wins vs fellow Region 21 opponents – Northern Essex, Holyoke and MassBay.
