Racist Slurs, Jugs Of Urine Found By Home Of Brockton Candidate
Police are investigating a 'disgusting' report of vandalism outside the home of a Black city council candidate in Brockton.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton candidate for city council is working with police to find who left gallon-sized jugs of urine with racial slurs written on them in his driveway Tuesday morning.
Marlon Green told police he sees this act of vandalism as an extreme response to his candidacy for Ward 1 city councilor.
Multiple messages found on the jugs included, "BLM Sucks," in reference to the Black Lives Matter movement, and "Black Nazi."

Other messages written on the jugs said, "Joe Biden piss," and "Ashli Babbitt: say her name," in reference to the woman who was shot and killed while trying to climb through a barricaded door of the White House chamber during the January 6 Capitol riot.
Green's opponent in the city council race, Thomas J. Minichiello Jr., posted a statement calling the incident "disgusting behavior."
The Enterprise says the Plymouth County Bureau of Criminal Investigation processed the scene at Green's home, checked surveillance video in the area, and are checking the DNA left behind.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Brockton police at 508-941-0234.
Green told the Enterprise that he considers the incident a hate crime.
