Boston Marathon 2022: Brookline Runners Support Pine Street Inn

Eric Emmons and David Krakauer will be running the 126th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18.

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline residents Eric Emmons and David Krakauer will be running the 126th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18 for Pine Street Inn, the largest homeless services provider in New England.

The money from Emmons and Krakauer's fundraisers will support the Boston's Way Home Fund, launched in partnership with Pine Street Inn and Bank of America, which will be used to help create 2oo new units of supportive, sustainable, long-term housing for chronically homeless men and women.

Emmons has been an Innkeeper, or a sustaining monthly donor to Pine Street Inn, for three years. He also participated in the organization's virtual Boston Marathon teams in 2020 and 2021, running a marathon distance during the Boston Athletic Association's (B.A.A.) 2020 Marathon Week.
