Brookline Committee Creates Immigrant-Friendly Welcome Packet

The 30-page booklet is offered in 9 languages and is designed to orient visitors and new residents.

BROOKLINE, MA — The town’s Immigrant Advancement Committee has assembled a 30-page “Welcome to Brookline” booklet for new residents.

According to the committee, the booklet is primarily catered toward immigrants who are coming to the country for the first time. It is available in 9 languages.

“The guide features information about Town resources and government, local schools, medical and psychological well-being, and many other local community-based resources,” the committee said in a statement.

The guide can be found in all languages online, while hard copies are available at Town Hall, Public Health Building, all three public library locations, Senior Center, and School Administration Offices.
