Level 3 Sex Offender Registers In Brookline

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department announced that a Level 3 sex offender has registered in town.

George Colp Jr., 65, is registered at living at the apartment complex at 108 Centre St. He was convicted of child rape in June of 1988. He is described as being a white man who is five feet and eight inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. According to police, Colp also has brown hair and brown eyes.

Level 3 Sex Offenders are described as having a high risk to reoffend. The department emphasized the importance of informing the community of Colp’s presence and others like him.
