Brookline Bomb Threat: Warrant Out For New York Man's Arrest

A man reportedly called in multiple threats to a hotel in April.

BROOKLINE, MA — A New York man has been charged with issuing a bomb threat to a Brookline hotel, according to a report from Brookline News.

Daniel Freundlich, 45, has been accused of calling the Iris Hotel on Webster Street eight times throughout a period of eight minutes on Friday, April 18 threatening that a bomb would go off. Freundlich’s motive was reportedly because the hotel had a Palestinian flag on display. The flag was first raised on April 12.

As of Tuesday, May 21, Freundlich had not yet been arrested but a warrant is out for his arrest. If convicted, Freundlich could face up to 20 years in prison.
