Brookline PD Arrests 3rd Suspect In Connection With July Home Invasion

BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline Police Department has announced that a third suspect has been arrested in connection with an alleged Warren Street home invasion in July.

Corey Buchannan, 32, of Lowell, has been charged with home invasion, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a FID, conspiracy, and larceny over $1,200, according to Boston 25 News.

In September, WCVB reported that Manuel Alicea, 31, of Tewksbury, and Dominic Hardin, 34, of Lowell, were charged with home invasion, conspiracy and larceny and numerous weapons charges in connection with the incident. At the time, police announced that they were seeking to arrest Buchannan.

According to Brookline police, early in the morning of July 18, multiple masked suspects forcibly entered the residence at 45 Warren St. through a second-floor balcony and assaulted a 61-year-old man inside.

Police said they found evidence that a firearm was discharged during the invasion.
