Brookline Police Investigating Burglary At Apartment Building
Police said approximately five people targeted packages, mailboxes and parked cars in a burglary on Jan. 3.
BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline police are seeking the public’s help identifying two people linked to burglary at an apartment building on Beacon Street last week.
The subjects, police said, are believed to be part of a larger group of approximately five people who raided a mail area and a parking garage at the building on Jan. 3.
The incident in question took place around 1 a.m., according to Brookline Police Sergeant Robert Disario.

Disario said individuals were able to enter the building, where they targeted packages and parcels housed in a mail pickup area for building residents. Disario said the group also targeted wall-mounted mailboxes.
The group then moved to the garage, where individuals entered multiple unlocked vehicles, according to Disario.

Disario said police have identified and obtained arrest warrants for two of the individuals allegedly involved in this burglary.
Police have shared photos in hopes of identifying two additional individuals.
Disario said police were not ready to release information on the fifth person as of Thursday morning.
Police had made no arrests to date in this case, according to Disario.
