Know This Person? Brookline Police Are Trying To ID Him

The person reportedly ripped a scooter from a chain it was locked onto.

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in the theft of a scooter that took place behind the Coolidge Corner Theatre on Friday, Oct. 24.

The person was caught on surveillance footage, appearing to pull on the locked scooter until its chain broke. Police are describing the person as a Hispanic male between the age of 20 and 30 years old who was wearing a black baseball hat, turquoise sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and a multi-colored backpack at the time of the incident.
