Brookline Police Is Now Hiring New Officers

An entrance exam is scheduled in town in November.

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department announced it is currently hiring new officers, with a Police Officer Entrance Examination slated for next month.

The exam will take place at Brookline Town Hall on 33 Washington St. on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 8 a.m. Two information sessions about the exam will be held at the town’s Public Safety Building on 350 Washington St. leading up to it on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and Saturday, Oct. 4 respectively. Entry-level applicants must achieve a score of at least 70 percent to pass. Salary for entry level officers starts at approximately $80,000 and could range up to more than $130,000.

Interest parties can apply online. The exam can also be taken remotely.
