“Raul is the true progressive Brookline needs fighting on our behalf on Beacon Hill. I've led in Town Hall and in the State House, and I know that Raul has the tenacity, track record, and integrity to be a much-needed force for change.” Mermell said in a statement. “Raul's bold vision around housing, education, the climate crisis, structural racism, and protecting abortion access meets the moment, and he has my enthusiastic support.”

Fernandez has made community-driven policy a cornerstone of his campaign, releasing detailed plans on housing, education, climate, and racial justice and holding community conversations with Brookline advocates and stakeholders.
