2. While we're at the Coolidge: Encore of 'Live' King Lear
Where/When: The Coolidge Corner Theatre, Saturday @ 10:30am (doors & pre-show @ 10am)
Why Go: Derek Jacobi as King Lear was captured live at London's National Theatre earlier this month. If you missed it before, this will be a second encore.

Why Go: The Church of Redeemer wraps up its winter concert series with Nicholas Kitchen, violin and Yeesun Kim, cello (both founding members of the award-winning Borromeo String Quartet) and Boston Symphony Orchestra assistant principal oboist Keisuke Wakao performing works by Stravinsky, Beethoven, and Franck.

Why Go: New Voices 2011 offers two original one-acts by BC student playwrights. One play examines the romantic thoughts and lives of eight undergraduate women. The other tells the story of an estranged brother and sister coping with a mysterious stranger who emerges from the basement.
