Murphy the Dog Was Lost, But Now He's Found
Beloved family dog found tonight after being injured and lost.

After being lost since Friday, lost dog Murphy was found earlier this evening, says owner/human companion Dana Brigham.
Brigham said in an email that Murphy was found on a back porch on Verndale Street near T.J. Maxx.
"He'd certainly traveled across numerous busy streets," Brigham wrote. "We've been to Angell [Animal Medical Center] and had him checked out - a bit beat up but nothing serious."

Brigham thanked everyone who had tried to help find Murphy: "It certainly takes a village and Brookline is a great one."
Brigham said in an earlier email that Murphy, a three year-old Labrador/Hound mix, ran away in the storm Friday night, had been clipped by a car on Route 9, and had taken off, bleeding, but able to run.
