Painted Burro Sibling Restaurant Opens Monday in Brookline

Burro Bar, brother of Somerville's Painted Burrito, debuts 5 p.m. Monday in Brookline's Washington Square.

It's the newest opening from the Alpine Restaurant Group. In addition to the Painted Burro in Davis Square, the group operates Rosebud American Bar & Kitchen, Posto, Osteria Posto and Posto Mobile.

On its website, the group says it plans to continue "to expand its presence in the region with new locations of Posto and The Painted Burro across New England."

In its first week, Burro Bar will be open 5-11 p.m. with later bar hours. It's at 1665 Beacon Street.
