Everyone seems to be on edge about a second wave of the coronavirus making its way to Massachusetts and now, the the Brookline Teachers union has voted to Strike over language regarding distancing protocols.

The union and the local school committee are in the middle of working out an agreement about how teaching will work amid the pandemic, and the teachers got spooked, they said, when the district wouldn't leave in a phrase about 6 feet of distancing. The school committee says they just don't want to be locked into 6 feet of distancing at schools when a vaccine and protocols loosen up.
