BROOKLINE, MA — The police department announced that White Place is fully closed due to an accident that took place Thursday morning. A trailer truck reportedly collided with a telephone pole at approximately 10:30 a.m., causing the pole to fully dislodge from the ground. In addition to the truck and the pole, several utility wires were damaged from the crash. The closure will continue as the utility services are being repaired. Police were reported to be detouring traffic at the intersection of White Place and Washington Street.
